International Design Competition The project includes the construction of a new bridge to improve the road network of Fiumicino, and the reorganization of the infrastructural network and of public spaces (squares, bicycle paths, docks and others). The new bridge is a bascule bridge and allows the passage of boats. The project, which received a special mention by the jury, considers the issue of traffic through the creation of two underpasses for vehicles and the strong functional and symbolic connection with the municipality building.
